I’m a firm believer that brows can make or break a look, which means having the right products on deck is a must. But I also like to keep things simple. That’s what led me to the It Cosmetics Brow Power Gel—it both fills and shapes your brows, so I was able to cut down on the number of products I use to define my arches. Now, I quickly use the brush’s tapered tip to fill in sparse areas, then swipe the wand through my brows to tint and set them in place. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
My nails chip distressingly easily unless I wear gel nail polish, but I hate dealing with gel removal. Enter: Essie Gel Couture. I was shocked when I wore it for the first time and discovered that my nails didn’t chip for days. The extra-longwear formula really works, and it’s easy to remove when you’re ready to switch it up. I’m stocking up on a bunch of shades—including this deep, pine-like green, which is perfect for winter.

I recently started using Lumi Glotion to see if it would live up to all the TikTok hype—and I’m glad to confirm it does. My ideal face makeup has a my-skin-but-better feel to it, and this multi-tasker gives my skin the fresh, natural finish I love, with just a hint of a golden glow. Although I use the Glotion in place of foundation, you can also use this multi-tasker to prime your skin, highlight the high points of your face, or even give your body a little extra glow.
I love a good eyebrow pen, and as a beauty editor, I’ve tried my fair share of them. However, I keep finding my way back to Brow Blade. This dual-ended stick has a waterproof pencil on one side and an inky felt-tipped brow stain on the other. Used together, they’re intended to mimic the results of microblading (sans the commitment). I use both ends when I’m after a full glam look, but the pencil side definitely gets the most regular wear.

There’s something about using setting powder that makes me feel put-together, even on my laziest, low-effort makeup days—and this velvety setting powder from Urban Decay is my go-to. There are a couple of ways I use it. To set my look, I apply it all over my face with a fluffy brush at the end of my makeup routine. If my skin is feeling drier, I’ll keep the application to my T-zone for long-lasting shine control without any cakiness. And when I need my makeup to really stay put, I’ll spritz the brand’s All Nighter setting spray on top to finish it off. True to its name, it keeps my skin looking smooth and matte all day (or night).
As a millennial, I grew up using lip gloss, so they’re a bit of a nostalgia-inducer for me. But while the glosses I grew up on tended to be excessively sticky, this hydrating tinted lip oil gloss from NYX is anything but. When I first applied it, I was immediately impressed by how much shine it delivered without feeling tacky. And, because the hint of color is so subtle, I’ve found that every shade (yes, I’ve tried all eight) to be equally flattering against my skin tone. I love keeping one of these fun lip glosses by my desk on days when I wear less makeup, but I’ve also been layering them on top of my lipstick on nights out.

I have nearly a dozen cream blushes in my collection, but Cheek Heat is the one I reach for the most consistently. It has a pleasant, creamy gel texture and glides onto my skin beautifully. But what’s most impressive is the color payoff: It’s as good as, if not better, than most high-end cream blushes I’ve tried. I like to dot the rosy hue on the tops of my cheekbones and blend it out with my fingers for a natural-looking, dewy flush.
Fresh, beachy-looking skin is my Roman Empire, and Saie’s beloved Glowy Super Gel delivers. The luminous formula contains vitamin C and squalane to help hydrate and brighten, and the ultra-subtle shimmer gives my skin a healthy-looking glow without looking sparkly. I usually mix a few pumps into my morning moisturizer and hit the road (I’m not much for foundation), but if I do want some more coverage, I’ll pair it with a tinted SPF.

Even when working from home, I apply mascara and illuminate the inner corners of my eyes to help me look (and feel) more awake. Lately, the Epic Wear Liner Stick in Rose Gold has been my go-to for that bright-eyed look. Unlike other creamy pencils I’ve tried, it doesn’t smudge or fade throughout the day—even after hours of screen time. And the shimmery golden flecks in this pretty shade are the perfect complement to my super dark brown eyes. One swipe of the velvety pencil is all it takes to get the job done.
I’ve been blessed with dark undereye circles my entire life (truly: My kindergarten teacher once questioned whether I was sick because of how prominent they were). Most concealers I’ve tried help brighten the area but don’t do much to neutralize the reddish-purple discoloration beneath. This color-correcting cream, however, does both. I use my middle finger to pat a small amount of the cream around my under eyes, then set it with translucent powder and watch my dark circles virtually disappear. As far as I’m concerned, this long-wearing cream is the closest I’ve gotten to real magic.
