Snitchery Shares the Top 5 Products On Her Holiday Beauty Wish List
Now that holiday shopping is in full swing (make moves, procrastinators), we just had to reach out to our friend and major beauty influencer Snitchery to find out what products are at the top of her holiday beauty wish list. Ahead, check out her top five picks perfect for gifting to a beauty-obsessed friend or keeping all for yourself.
The Urban Decay Elements palette feels like a breath of fresh air. Harboring only three matte shades in a sea of 16 shimmers, this circle palette is a new staple for anyone who loves to add a little sparkle to their look, or for makeup collectors who’ll easily gawk at the crystal-like packaging. The shades themselves are buttery and consistent, making what at first glance appears to be an “out there” color story very wearable and user friendly.
IT Cosmetics is my all-time favorite brush brand (the Heavenly Luxe Dual Foundation Concealer Brush has saved my undereyes one too many times), so when I saw they teamed up with Ulta to release a holiday collection, I was absolutely stoked! With rose gold-toned handles that catch the light and never stop sparkling, this gorgeous set includes five cruelty free brushes: foundation/concealer, powder, dual concealer and shadow liner, as well as a limited edition clutch of the same design to carry them. The powder brush in particular is ridiculously luxe, and after a month of use, I’m wondering how I ever set my face without it!
YSL Gold Attraction Edition Palette
Yves Saint Laurent consistently has the prettiest package in the game, so the fact that their Gold Attraction Edition palette features a velvety matte black finish, gorgeously gold logo (the sparkles don’t transfer, believe me, I tested), metallic gold rim and a handy clasp to tie it altogether comes as no surprise. It’s tiny enough to carry with you in your purse for touch ups, but large enough to feature seven stunning shades and three mini brushes. This palette makes the perfect stocking stuffer for someone who’s been extra good this year!
Also part of the same collection are the YSL Gold Edition Lipsticks, which feature similar packaging to the palette in their matte black finish and blind logo. They’re quite large for a lipstick tube in a way that feels sturdy and substantial rather than cumbersome, and apply with the buttery ease we’ve come to expect from the brand. My current favorite color is 340, a shockingly wearable copper and nude hybrid with just enough shimmer to make a statement.
Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Perfume
What more is there to say about Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum? Hailed as one of the most popular perfumes (certainly of my generation), the scent is equally as recognizable as the name — all at once floral, sweet, warm, bold and universally adored. The Flowerbomb Tutu knows better than to mess with perfection, offering the signature scent in a precious bottle dressed in gold glitter and a whimsical pink tutu. This limited edition perfume would make the sweetest holiday treat for a loved one!
