Learn How to Do Lip Art With These Three Easy Makeup Tutorials

Lip art is perhaps one of the most playful makeup trends out there: simply because it’s a true test to your makeup artist skills, and it can come out looking really cool once you get the hang of it. In just about every case, delving into the world of lip art opens up a ton of creativity, so we rounded up our favorite lip art how-to tutorials to give you some major out of the average lip box inspo. Go Galaxy

STEP 1: Fill in your lips with a matte black liquid lippie. Clean up the edges with a thin brush.

STEP 2:Use a metallic silver shadow to add some dimension to the upper and lower lash line, and tap it on with an eyeshadow brush.

STEP 3: With a tiny pencil brush and a white liquid lipstick, apply multiple dots around your pout to serve as your stars.

STEP 4: Add a diagonal comet to the lower lip with a purple shadow, and finish it off with a white highlight. Next, apply soft galaxy shape with blue and purple shades. Add smaller stars with white liquid lippie and a dotting pencil brush.

STEP 5: Pick up sparkling neon blue and purple pigments, and add further dimension to the galaxies with sparkle.

Mermaid Mouth

STEP 1: Start by applying a black liquid lipstick to the bottom half of your lips. Next, use a metallic navy blue liquid lippie on your upper lip for the starting point of the look.

STEP 2: Grab a mermaid scale stencil, and apply iridescent green glitter onto the bottom lip.

STEP 3: Once the bottom lip is complete, apply a gold-green glitter onto the top navy portion of the lip, and slightly bring it down over your scales.

STEP 4: dd some small green crystals to the ends of each scale to complete the look.

Oil Slick Drip

STEP 1: Start by applying a black liquid lippie as your overall base.

STEP 2: Grab a rainbow iridescent pink lip gloss, and drip it all over your bottom lip — and repeat this step with a holographic shade, as well. Repeat both steps over your top lip, and allow the gloss to slide off at the base of your mouth every so slightly.
